The new SSDs will be aimed at markets using SATA and SAS in enterprise storage solutions. Using the new controllers the SSDs will have 6Gb/s SATA III with performance expected to be in the range of 60K IOPS random read and write and as much as 500MB/s in sequential read and write.

The SSDs will also use DuraClass tech allowing advanced SLC and MLC flash chips to be used with better performance, endurance, security and power efficiency. Power efficiency and enhanced endurance are very important in the enterprise environment. There is no word on pricing of the SSDs using the new controllers at this time.
