Toyota FT-4X Concept Gallery
Toyota's FT-4X Concept reimagines the crossover from a Millennial perspective. Looking like an oversized toy truck, it borrows liberally from old Toyota trucks and SUVs of the past. However, it also throws in numerous gadgets and hidden surprises.
There's a GoPro camera built into one of the side mirrors, for instance, and a sleeping bag that doubles as the center front armrest. The interior lights can be pulled out to serve as campsite lighting; similarly, the stereo is removable for use as a portable speaker. Even the rear armrests have handles that are also water bottles.
Toyota has no current plans to built the FT-4X Concept as a production model, though we'd not be surprised to see styling cues from it picked out for future small crossovers from the firm.
