This Is Why Your Android Phone Keeps Dropping Calls
By JAM KOTENKO
Reception
More often than not, dropped calls happen when you are making your phone call in a dead zone or in an area with limited to zero cellular coverage.
Refresh Settings
If your Wi-Fi calls keep dropping, you should try resetting your Wi-Fi router, connecting to a different network, or restarting your phone.
Calling Apps
If you are using third-party messaging or calling apps, an issue with the software may be to blame. Force-quit the app and then launch it again to make your phone call.
Hardware
Your phone's SIM card may not be seated properly. Dropping the device can damage both the SIM card and the circuit responsible for connecting phone calls.
Safe Mode
Rebooting your device in "Safe Mode" can help diagnose puzzling problems with your phone if you’ve tried powering off your device and restarting.
