This Is How Long The Battery In A Volkswagen ID.4 Will Actually Last

Like other EVs, one of the most commonly asked questions about the Volkswagen ID.4 is how long will the battery last before it needs replacing.
Luckily, Volkswagen provides an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty on the battery. VW's warranty covers the battery until the battery degrades to about 70% charge capacity.
After the warranty expires, MotorBiscuit reports that ID.4's battery should last between 300,000 to 400,000 miles before the range is seriously hampered.
Most traditional cars have major mechanical failures well before that mile mark, so the ID.4's battery should remain functional before needing to be replaced.
