The Most Expensive Car In Danny Koker's Collection
By ALVIN REYES
A bonafide car lover, Daniel “Danny” Koker is not only the star of the hit TV show “Counting Cars,” but also a self-taught mechanic who built Count’s Kustoms, a world-famous auto customization shop, into a $10 million restoration factory. Koker, however, tends to fall in love with his restoration projects, and instead of selling the cars, adds them to his growing collection.
It’s hard to count (pun intended) how many rides Koker has, but estimates in 2013 were around 58 cars and 78 motorcycles. His most prized possessions include a 1932 Ford Roadster, one of America’s oldest and most historic hot rods, and a priceless 1966 Mustang GT350 purchased initially by his father when Danny was young — and the one that started Koker’s love for cars.
However, the most expensive car in his collection is the first car he and his dad purchased together: a 1966 AC Cobra. According to J.D. Power NADAguides, a 1966 Cobra costs between $1.1 million to a staggering $2.1 million today. Other vehicles in his garage that are costly and could fetch a price in the six figures are a 1999 Shelby Series I and a Lamborghini Countach.
