Tesla Vs. Diesel Semis – Which Can Pull More Weight?
By ALEX HEVESY
Tesla has released its EV semi-truck. While it looks impressive on the outside, some may have wondered if it can match the hauling power of a traditional semi-truck.
According to the company, the Tesla Semi can go anywhere between 300 to 500 miles on a charge, can go 0-60 miles per hour in 60 seconds, and is powered by three electric motors.
It seems that the Tesla Semi can go toe-to-toe with more conventional diesel trucks, following the U.S. federal weight restrictions of an 80,000-pound max load.
