Ryobi Vs Milwaukee: Who Makes The Better Cordless Drill?
By ELI BECHT
Despite having the same parent company, there is a difference between popular tool manufacturers Ryobi and Milwaukee, which is highlighted in their cordless drills.
Ryobi's 18-volt cordless drill is aimed at budget shoppers, costing only around $60. It doesn't come with an extra battery, which is fine if you're doing short projects.
The Milwaukee 18-volt option comes with two batteries and a storage case for easy travel. The downside is paying a premium of nearly $230 at full price for those benefits.
There are some key differences. Milwaukee’s options are practically better across the board whereas Ryobi's options have a lower max speed, shorter battery life, and are heavier.
