Ranking The Biggest 3D Printer Brands On The Market Today
By CALEB CLARK
10. ToyBox
At only 7.4 x 7.4 x 9.05 inches, the ToyBox 3D printer is a compelling option for children interested in 3D printing or STEM.
The $300 compact printer uses PLA non-toxic plastic and has an easy-to-use app and a Creator Space where you can make your own designs.
9. AnkerMake
Best known for mobile accessories and headphones, Anker has introduced high-quality FDM printers that work at incredible speeds.
The AnkerMake M5 sells for around $600 and is a great starter FDM. Unfortunately, there have been reported issues with the screws that hold the hotbed in place.
8. Lulzbot
Lulzbot is a premium FDM printer manufacturer that produces excellent products, though their products typically have a higher price.
Most Lulzbot printers will cost you at least $1,000, with some costing well over two grand. The most affordable option is the TAZ Sidekick, which retails for about $800.
7. Phrozon
The relatively new company Phrozon specializes in resin 3D printers and makes its own resin and curing stations. It has become popular among miniatures enthusiasts.
Phrozon has several printers, the cheapest being the Sonic Mini for around $269. Unfortunately, users have complained about the brand’s small print area size.
6. Creality
A well-known and established 3D printer brand, Creality makes great FDM and resin printers. However, even their cheapest are not competitively priced.
Its $900 flagship K1 Max has a max printing speed of 600 mm/sec, a print area of 300x300x300mm, an integrated AI camera, and a LIDAR sensor.
