1. Galaxy Z Fold 5
While there was little change between the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and its previous iteration, the device’s hardware has been excellent for a few generations.
Along with its software improvements over the years, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is the folding phone to beat. However, some fans might find the screen to be too large.
2. Galaxy Flip 5
Like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5 takes the top spot in flip-style phones, providing users with features like its 3.4-inch cover screen.
The cover screen on the Galaxy Flip 5 can handle several widgets that Samsung has built specifically for the screen, in addition to a few optimized apps.
3. Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
From the world’s third-largest phone maker, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is a surprisingly thin powerhouse smartphone with an excellent camera set.
This set of cameras comes with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 10-megapixel 3.2x optical zoom lens, a 10-megapixel 5x optical periscope lens, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera.
4. Moto Razr Plus
Motorola’s Moto Razr Plus, also known as the Moto Razr 40 Ultra overseas, has the largest cover screen on a flip-style foldable while also being the thinnest.
Although the phone has many great features, its quality can’t quite match Samsung’s, and its camera leaves much to be desired.
5. Google Pixel Fold
Google’s first foray into this style of phone, the Pixel Fold, brings an attractive book-style foldable and one of the best camera sets out there.
One weakness is the phone’s inability to properly use the inner screen, with some apps optimized for Samsung’s near-square inner aspect ratio not working as well on the Pixel Fold.
