Your monitor or TV might not support the PS5's max capabilities and you’ll need to adjust the console's output resolution to fix the black screen problem.
With the controller connected by a USB-C cable in Safe Mode, press the PS button and select Change Video Output, then Change Resolution, and select a lower resolution option.
A faulty or poorly connected HDMI cable can cause a black screen. Although high-quality cables can be purchased, it's best to use the one that came with your PS5.
Although it could appear as if the PS5 is connected, it is possible that the power cord is poorly attached, preventing it from directing power to the console.
