Here's How to Record a Phone Call On iPhone

The simplest way to record a phone call is to use other devices like a voice recorder, another iPhone, a tablet, or a computer. All you need to do is make your call with the speakerphone enabled, place your phone next to the recording device, and save your recording once the call is over.
However, if you’re looking for a call-recording app, TapeACall and Just Press Record are two of the more popular options. If you choose to use one of these apps, be sure to start recording before the call begins, stop the recording once finished, save it, and title and manage the recordings in order to easily find them later.
A fun fact is that some call-recording apps even provide voice-to-text transcription. This can be an especially useful feature, as it makes it possible to go back and search the text for specific words or phrases.
A third option is to use a phone service that provides call recording options, like RingCentral, 8x8, or Vonage. However, because these services are specifically designed to replicate the kind of call software used in an office, many include features like automated announcements informing all parties that the call may be monitored and/or recorded.
Some jurisdictions require all parties to be notified of a recording, others require all parties to give consent, and some require no notification at all. Make sure you clearly understand the applicable laws in your jurisdiction, no matter what your reason for recording a call is, and you’ll be all set.
