5 New Honda CR-V Features Worth Getting Excited Over
By JOWI MORALES
e:FCEV
In 2024, the Toyota Mirai is the only option for a hydrogen fuel cell car, but it will soon be joined by a competitor in the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV.
This plug-in fuel cell vehicle with a unique propulsion method is based on the top-trim Sport Touring Honda CR-V. It will look and feel similar to its other non-fuel cell siblings.
Fascia & Rear Lights
The CR-V e:FCEV receives an updated front fascia, giving it a more prominent front grille and a slightly longer front overhang, and clear taillights.
Its interior is virtually the same as the Touring trim it's based on, sans the sunroof. Interior passage room stays the same, but the hydrogen tank takes up a lot of cargo space.
29-Mile Battery
Per research by UCLA, the mean commute distance of higher-income Americans in 2017 was 13.7 miles. Title Max reports that this distance takes around 28.1 minutes.
This makes the CR-V e:FCEV's 29-mile EV-only range more than enough for the one-hour drive from the house to the office and back for most drivers.
