First you're going to see the setting up of the press conference. This is no tiny affair. Here Sony's crew makes an arena blow up with blue. This isn't a Kanye West concert, it's the prep for PlayStation.

The wrap-up article you're reading right this minute is split into four sections – we begin with games, move on to PlayStation Vue, then PlayStation 4's Project Morpheus, then on with the entire press conference replay. Dive in wherever your heart takes you.

Games

First you'll see King's Quest. This is Chapter 1 – part of an ongoing series. You'll recognize the voice of the King immediately.

The game The Last Guardian is a tale of woe. It's a tale of beauty. It's not for the faint of heart. It's also not appropriate for children. It's like the Neverending Story, if you'd be so kind.

Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to PlayStation this year. This game is about the future, the past, old friends long gone. Tribes, hunting, and survival. Think wildlings vs robots.

Street Fighter V is... You know good and well what it is. Here the game takes the same mechanics you know and love, smashing them in to a painted, futuristic land of graphics finesse.

Hitman – the new, 2016 edition. This game has been in the making at IO-Interactive for years. It's not for children. It's not for most adults, either. This is a brutal game – cold, calculating, deadly.

Another massive title – Final Fantasy VII. Remember the past. See it return to the future. This is the reunion and the rebirth. The Remake of one of the most popular RPGs of all time.

Firewatch is a game that's all about isolation. You're going to need to be on your toes, talking to your partner, watching the wild environment you're assigned to for clues – there's a mystery to be solved.

Dreams is another game sort of like the one you see above – not in content, but in the way it's very much off the beaten path. This is new ground. This game is very colorful and very... disturbing.

Bungie returns with Destiny: The Taken King. This is the next chapter in the Destiny universe.

DEVOLVER Digital presents the next montage of games. Expect nothing but the best from the people that brought you Broforce.

PlayStation won't be the only place you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops III, but if this is what it looks like here, it'll be difficult to find a reason to go anywhere else.

Transformers: Devastation is a fighting sort of game set in a city arena. It's going to be based on the comics, and it'll look like it too.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to be a monster of a game. This title will have you taking part in classic Star Wars battles. Have a peek at our Battlefront tag portal for more information – it's going to be a great time, without a doubt.

If the above isn't enough to get your Star Wars fan in line, there's always the more child-friendly Disney Infinity 3.0, with the first Star Wars figures available – for the first time.

Diving in on the wild once again is Uncharted 4, a Thief's End. Don't forget to bring your dune-buggy.

We got our first full look at Assassin's Creed Syndicate with Evie Frye. She's about to bring the cuts.

You've seen Mad Max before. This trailer makes it seem a lot more like the film than we know it is. Good times.

Next is Tom Clancy's The Division – don't expect to be left free of the in-depth storyline and the death of everything you hold dear.

Unrelenting challenge is the name of the game here – in Dark Souls III, you're going to wish you never started. It's about fire. It's about evil.

PlayStation Vue

Sony made a big deal of their service PlayStation Vue, too. A TV experience inside your PlayStation. The video makes it seem much more awesome than it's likely capable of being – unless it can deliver a real force-field for us.

Wayward Sky is a game for Project Morpheus that's meant to "ease players into VR." It's a puzzle game – it's not meant to be extremely difficult. It'll be fun. Promise.

The game RIGS is also made for Project Morpheus. This game puts you in the seat of a mech, and your mech is made to battle.

The game Godling is a first-person VR game for Project Morpheus made using Unreal Engine 4. That means it's going to be absolutely beautiful. Watch for the realism. Don't get lost.
