Sony Ericsson 3G Handset Is A Japan-Only Marvel
Blimey, I was about to write how frustrating it is seeing perfectly-polished and apparently shop-ready concept handsets from companies like Sony Ericsson, when I read that actually this swish new model, the AU W44S, is going to be released in Japan in mid-December this year. Just in case you weren't convinced enough that Europe and the US gets the cold shoulder when it comes to next-gen cellphone technology, this ought to convince you: with its innovative folding hinge, 1Seg Digital TV tuner and Digital Radio, digital camera, oh and a Sony Bravia screen, this handset is drop dead sex on a cellular network.

Will we ever see it outside of Japan? I wouldn't hold your breath...
