SkullCandy Headphones MP3 Player

In an effort to cut down on all the clutter and wires companies have tried two approaches, one of which is building the MP3 player or radio into the headphones, the second is making the connection between the two wireless, such as with the Samsung P2 and any Bluetooth headphones. SkullCandy is going to start by trying the former, which should solve one of the major problems of integrating the audio source into the headphones.

That major problem being that most of the time the headphones that such device are integrated into are garbage. I actually saw these headphones and got to try them out at CES, but my camera was dead so I couldn't take any shots, they sound great and the tech guys at the SkullCandy booth (they were hard to find) said that any SD card should work including SDHC cards.

That means that you could put some serious music into these things if you wanted to pretty much all the Microsoft audio formats either with or without DRM should work and the Apple formats should work as long as they don't have DRM. I love these things, and the Orange/Brown ones look pretty cool, but now that I get to see the all black set, I think those are the ones I want. If I had to guess, since the storage is up to you, these will probably retail for around $80, but that's just a guess, also, they are coming sometime later this Spring.
