Singer All-Terrain Competition Study Gallery
It's a Porsche 911, but not like any other you might have seen. Handiwork of restoration specialists Singer, the All-terrain Competition Study (ACS) takes a 1990 Type 964 911 and outfits it for off-road mayhem. That means a custom upgraded monocoque, FIA-spec roll cage, and carbon fiber body panels.
The engine is a 3.6-liter twin-turbo air-cooled flat-six, with 450 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Permanent AWD gets front, center, and rear limited-slip differentials, plus a racing-spec 5-speed sequential transmission. A long-range fuel tank ensures plenty of time away from the more humdrum world, and more out in the snow, rocks, and ice.
Custom suspension gives it the footing for that, and there are two spare wheels and a pair of bespoke competition seats, each with an integrated drink system. Cutting-edge GPS navigation joins the party too. A second version will be configured for high-speed, high-grip tarmac events, and Singer is open to building more ACS cars should clients with suitably deep pockets turn up wanting their own.
