Samsung unveils new BX2031, BX2231, BX2331, and BX2431 monitors

Samsung has unveiled a new series of computer monitors called the 31 series that includes four new screens. The screens include the BX2031, BX2231, BX2331, and BX2431 with screen sizes of 20-inches, 21.5-inch, 23-inch, and 24-inch respectively. The new monitors have many of the same features aside for the difference in screen sizes.

The common features of the 31 series include very slim 19mm panel thicknesses. The screens have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution with the exception of the 20-inch BX2031 that has a resolution of 1600 x 900. The panel response time in the BX2031 is 5ms with the three other offerings having a response time of 2ms. The dynamic contrast rating is the same across the range at 5M:1.

Other features include dual HDMI inputs on the three higher-end screens with the BX2031 getting VGA and DVI-D only. The series will start to ship this month with the BX2031 at $169, the BX2231 at $199, the BX2331 at $239, and the BX2431 at $279. The displays will be offered at most major online retailers.
