Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Gallery

Samsung didn't have a smooth launch for the original Galaxy Fold, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is shaping up to be a whole lot more refined. Similar at first glance to the first-generation foldable, this new phone-tablet hybrid actually polishes off many of the rough edges that early-adopters complained about. That's obvious before you even open up the phone.

The outer display is considerably larger, now at 6.2-inches. That's the same size as the screen on the Galaxy S20, in fact. It should make for a much more usable device when the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is closed, such as when you might want to be using it one-handed.

When you do open it up, though, you find a larger 7.7-inch AMOLED display. That has a more surreptitious hole-punch camera now, rather than the oversized cutout. On the back there are three cameras – a 12-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto – and support for reverse wireless charging. On sale from September 2020, it's priced from $1,999.
