Samsung Android Oreo Update Device List Leaked
Samsung is notorious for being slow to update its phones, if they're lucky enough to even be updated. It was hoped that the OEM had changed for the better, slimming down its TouchWiz, now "Samsung Experience", UI and pushing out security updates more regularly. Alas, even its latest Galaxy S8 has yet to receive Android 8.0 Oreo. It seems, however, that Samsung does plan to update a whole lot of its Galaxy devices to Oreo. That is, if it ever gets around to actually doing it.
This list of devices "eligible" for Android Oreo comes from an unreleased and unconfirmed Oreo beta for the Galaxy Note 8. In other words, its accuracy and veracity are twice removed. Still, it could offer hope for some owners of older Galaxy phones that they will eventually get their dessert.
