Rumor - New SIXAXIS controller to have touch sensitive technology

We already know that we can look forward to a new SIXAXIS controller that will have the rumble feature that everyone has missed. However, it is being reported that there will be another new feature in upcoming versions of the controller.

According to sources, the new SIXAXIS controller will have touch sensitivity. The technology is called "Touchsense" and will have a more nuanced rumble that will be felt throughout the controller and even the analog sticks.

What's really great is that the rumble engine is actually cheaper to manufacture than the previous technology used in the older PS2 controllers. This will hopefully mean that you won't have to pay much of a premium for a controller that rumbles. If this rumor is to be true, we'll likely hear about it next week at E3.
