RIP Nokia Sync
This December 5th, 2014, the age of Nokia Sync will be over. This affects the Nokia Series 40, Nokia N9, and a number of Nokia Symbian phones. I know you're sad, and I know you'll miss it. Today we show respect for the system that kept your Nokia device connected to your PC – love and respect.
It's been a long, strange journey, mister Nokia Sync. You got us through some tough times. When I wanted to get that MP3 of Metallica's Call of the Cthulhu to the Nokia N9. When I wanted to transfer those massive 41-megapixel photos from the Nokia 808 PureView to my PC. You were there, Nokia Sync!
Thank you, Nokia Sync. For the good times and the bad. Now on the 5th of December, 2014, you will die.
For everyone here lamenting with me, by all means, check out the two ways you can live your life beyond Nokia Sync. Both are included on Microsoft's warning page – export or migrate. Make with the change. Accept the change.
And think about the future – and what brought us here. Could things have been different? Is the future truly set?
