Proporta outs USB TurboCharger 5000 external battery pack for all sorts of gear

Proporta makes all sorts of gear for keeping your gadgets powered up and working for a longer amount of time. The company has unveiled its latest device called the USB TurboCharger 5000. The thing is an external battery pack that includes tips that will let it keep all manner of gadgets charged up and working.

The battery pack has a retractable cable and a bunch of tips that easily interchange to allow charging of the iPhone and iPad, Sony Ericsson phones, HTC phones, the PSP, Blackberry smartphones, and Nokia devices. You can power any micro USB device with the battery pack.

The battery pack has 5000mAh of juice and the input power is 5V at 1.5A. The internal battery's 5500mAH of power is enough juice to charge most gadgets several times says Proporta. The battery is 110mm x 71mm x 15mm and looks to be about the size of a thicker iPod touch. You can order one right now for $67.95.
