Polestar Precept Gallery

Polestar may have a busy 2020 planned, with both the Polestar 1 and Polestar 2 set to reach owners, but that hasn't stopped it coming up with a new concept. Previewing the future of the EV-focused performance brand, the Polestar Precept is a thinly-disguised vision of what a four-door grand tourer from the Swedish automaker might look like. Spoiler: it looks very good indeed.

It's long and low, Polestar envisaging that lengthy wheelbase being useful for accommodating a sizable battery pack. It also makes for a spacious cabin, which is full of green-friendly tech. Recycled materials for the seats, doors, and carpets, along with the trim, sit alongside a new Android-based digital dashboard spread across two sizable displays.

Outside, aerodynamic slipperiness rules the day. Polestar says it's intentionally doing away with unnecessary ornamentation, not to mention drag-creating things like side mirrors. We'll see more when the Precept makes its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2020.
