PlayStation Now Gets 19 New PS4 Games - Here's The Full List
It was almost exactly a month ago that Sony began adding the first PlayStation 4 games to its PlayStation Now subscription service. With that initial batch, 20 PS4 games were added to PS Now, with some greats like God of War 3 Remastered and Saints Row IV present on the list. Today, Sony is adding another 19 games, nearly doubling the number of PlayStation 4 games available on the service.
There aren't a whole lot of noteworthy triple-A titles being added in this batch, but there are quite a few indie releases. The most well-known titles on the list are probably Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Tearaway Unfolded. Here's the full list of PS4 games joining the roster today:
Back to Bed
Blazerush
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2
Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus
Goosebumps: The Game
Farming Simulator 15
Fluster Cluck
Ironcast
Jumpjet Rex
Last Tinker: City of Colors
Legend of Kay
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Leo's Fortune
OlliOlli
OlliOlli 2
Pure Chess
Tearaway Unfolded
Q*Bert Rebooted
Velocibox
So, it's a fairly quiet month for PlayStation 4 on PS Now, but those of you who like diving into the vast sea of indie games to discover hidden gems will certainly have your hands full until the next update. It seems like Sony is finished adding PS3 games to PlayStation Now for the time being, but considering there were already more than 400 PS3 games available by the time it started adding titles from the PS4 library, we doubt Sony will get many complaints about this shift.
It's important to remember that PlayStation Now is ditching a variety of platforms later this month, too. Once August 15 rolls around, PlayStation Now will only be available on PS4 and PC. That means no more PlayStation Now on PS3, PlayStation TV, Sony Bravia smart TVs, or PlayStation Vita.
The good news is that your PS Now saves aren't stored locally, but rather to the cloud, meaning that if you're using your subscription on one of those discontinued platforms, you can hop over to PC or PS4 and continue your progress. Those platforms will all lose support on August 15, so if you're not going to continue your subscription on another platform, you've got precisely one week to finish up the games you're currently playing.
