New iPods Hacked To Work With Linux
If you've purchased one of the brand spanking new iPods, you've no doubt noticed that they don't exactly play nicely with Linux, which sadly isn't much of a surprise. However, the beauty of being an open-source operating system is that crafty people are always finding ways to make new stuff work on it.
Unfortunately, the sword is double-edged. While you generally have people working hard to make your new products work, the end result is rarely something that "just works." You generally have to do a little bit of work to accomplish your goal.
Thankfully, the guys that came up with this latest hack for your iPod made things relatively simple. If you're using Linux as your primary OS, you shouldn't have much trouble getting this to work.
