New 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Episodes Leaked For Download By Hacker

Remember the big HBO hack? The latest one, that is. The company just suffered another blow as the hacker has leaked new Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes online, making them available for anyone to download. That's a big problem for HBO, which announced last year that it would be reviving the beloved series. The new show hasn't yet premiered on the network.

While the new Game of Thrones episodes got the most attention in relation to the hack, the hackers made off with a lot more than that. The matter has been dragging on for weeks now, and HBO has tried to remain strong in light of the hacker's demands. Making good on some threats, though, these hackers decided to push back and leaked several episodes from the show's revival, which isn't scheduled to hit the network until this upcoming October.

In a recent statement, HBO said in part, "The hacker may continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information in an attempt to generate media attention. That's a game we're not going to participate in. Obviously, no company wants their proprietary information stolen and released on the internet." The full extent of the hackers' stolen data isn't clear, but is said to include documents, as well.

The hacker recently leaked a document that supposedly shows HBO offering to pay a $250,000 bounty, though the extent of dealings taking place behind closed doors is unknown. This isn't the first time HBO has been hacked, and it certainly isn't the first time a media company has suffered a massive leak. At this point, the latest HBO hack pales in comparison to the hack suffered by Sony in late 2014.

While multiple publications are reporting that these episodes have been leaked, there are no signs of them on The Pirate Bay or other popular torrenting websites. One large Reddit thread shows fans of the show searching for the episodes and reporting no success finding them, and so it is unclear where, exactly, these episodes reside. However, in the best interest of both legality and fandom, you should wait until the October premiere and enjoy them the legal way.
