Moto G8 Or P40 Note Will Be Company's First Triple Camera Phone
Despite how Google tries to spin it, a single camera just isn't enough anymore these days. Even dual cameras are barely cutting it, reserved for entry-level models. Three's a crowd except when they're crowding on the back of your phone. It seems that Motorola has gotten the memo and might implement exactly that on its next smartphone. The question now is which one.
Motorola hasn't yet announced a Moto Z phone so far so you might presume such an expensive component to make its way to its premium line. Based on renders of he Moto Z4 or Moto Z4 Play, however, that's not to be the case. Then again, the Moto Z series is locked into the same design until Motorola calls it quits on its Moto Mods.
According to Steve H. McFly, more popularly known as OnLeaks, that honor will belong to the Moto G8. Or, if others are to be believed, the Motorola P40 Note, a.k.a. the Motorola One Power 2. Just like the Moto Z4/Z4 Play confusion, it's anybody's guess at this point.
As pointed out by some of you, this one might in fact be the #Motorola P30 Power aka Motorola One Power aka Motorola P30 Note successor and if so, likely be called #MotorolaP40Power aka #MotorolaP40Note aka whatever... Sucha messy naming sheme... 😒

McFly collaborated with Pricebaba to bring the usual set of renders for the Moto G8/P40 Note. More than just the triple cameras, however, the smartphone is also the first from Motorola to come with a punch hole screen. That is if it isn't beaten to the punch by the Motorola One Vision, which could be the Motorola P40. Confused yet? Most will probably be.
Nothing to be excited yet for now, though, as the expected specs for the P40 Note are almost similar to the P40. That includes a Snapdragon 675 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage. Given it's a "Note" or "One Power" phone, it might have a huge battery to boot. No word on when all of these will drop though.
