A few people have criticised the PRADA phone recently as catering too much to the whims of fashion; hear that Italian label's name and you immediately assume that it's a mere trinket designed to last a season before you pick up a different model. Of course there'll be a fair few – rich – people who do treat it like that, but I don't think that undermines its value as a smartphone for the rest of us.
