Microsoft Live Arcade For PC Dubbed Vega

The intent of creating an arcade much like the Xbox Live Arcade, but for PC was already announced at Gamefest 2k7. Since then there hasn't been much, if any new information about the potential service.

Sources from Joystiq have stated, and affirmed, that the service is internally referred to as Vega. They are planning to launch in early November and are intent on having between 10-20 games ready at launch.

Their basic goal is to start with the 10-20 games and then add 2-4 games per month. Another part of the ideology behind this development is to spread the game playing capabilities of the Xbox across all of their platforms.

The dev side of things will take away 60% of profits and Microsoft will take the rest. The pricing scheme kind of concerns me though, with prices ranging from $5-30 but they kept the 150MB file size limit, what do they think they can fit in 150MB that is worth $30?
