Men Micro DC2 rugged display computer breaks cover

Men Micro has unveiled a new capacitive touchscreen computer that is aimed at making it easier for people to interface with machinery and the screen will work for all sorts of other uses. The machine is called the DC2 and it is sort of like an AIO computer designed to be mounted in a wall or inside a machine of some sort.

The DC2 has a 10.4-inch LCD TFT display that is 1024 x 768 resolution and the screen scan be had in up to 19-inch size. It is a capacitive touchscreen and has an Intel Atom 1.3GHz XL Z520PT processor inside along with 1GB of RAM and a 2GB microSD card for storage.

The machine also has dual Fast Ethernet connections and dual USB ports. It also has four binary inputs via the 10-pin power supply connector that allows the machine to get input from sensors and other equipment. The device also has a miniPCI Express slot that supports all sorts of items like 3G modems and more. The DC2 sells for $2,200.
