Mazda RX-VISION GT3 Concept Gallery
First things first: you can drive the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept, but only virtually. Mazda designed its latest car for Gran Turismo Sport, the racing game on the PlayStation 4. Players will get to enjoy 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque from a 2.6-liter rotary engine.
Outside, the resemblance to the RX-Vision concept of 2015 is clear. Back then, it was a luxury rotary-engine GT; now, it has gained all the aerodynamic work and vast spoiler needed for race track duty. What's the same is the front-engined, rear-wheel-drive layout, and the achingly pretty looks.
What Mazda isn't saying is whether a car like this could make it to production. "The model embodies a dream vehicle that Mazda hopes to make it real one day," the automaker teases, but so far that's about as far as it goes.
