Leipzig: Big Three Make Show Look Like Dorm Room
First, there was Sony's booth that had several toilets. Was one to sit on them while gaming? Were they functional? Either way, I have a feeling it would have felt very awkward.
Then, Microsoft does up and Xbox 360 booth with beanbag chairs and a beach theme. Bean bag chairs on a beach? I think they kind of got a couple things mixed up; bean bag chairs are the things I throw around for temporary seating in confined living spaces. Beaches are the places I go to get away from the aforementioned confined living spaces.
Last but far from least, Nintendo used shower curtains for their booth. I don't know if this was intentional, but it sure jives with Sony's theme, maybe Microsoft should have went with something bathroom oriented to match? They could have used mirrors, and had those chicks from Gillette there to shave people, that would have been hot.
Kotaku graded all three, with Sony coming out as the winner, mainly because they couldn't grade Nintendo's booth. I personally think they are all crazy.
