The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max were revealed by Apple on September 10, 2019 at Fall iPhone event. The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max replaced the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, while the iPhone 11 effectively replaced the iPhone XR, while the iPhone XR remained available from Apple (albeit with a newly-lowered price) The iPhone 11 Pro series came with a new design and a 3-camera array on its back.

The 11 Pro had a 5.8-inch display with Super Retina XDR technology. This device sported a 5.8-inch "all-screen" OLED panel – multi-touch and HDR enabled. This panel had 2436‑by‑1125-pixel resolution at 458 ppi.

The Max Model had a 6.5‑inch (diagonal) all‑screen OLED Multi‑Touch display, with HDR and 2688‑by‑1242-pixel resolution at 458 ppi. The smaller of the two Pro models weighed in at 6.63 ounces (188 grams), while the larger was 7.97 ounces (226 grams). Both devices came with A13 Bionic chips and Triple 12MP Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto cameras.
