iOS 5 To Have Deep Twitter Integration?

Next Monday marks the opening day of WWDC 2011 where all the details on Apple's iCloud, OS X Lion, and iOS 5 will be revealed. There's been plenty of speculation on the iCloud, and now there's a new claim going around about iOS 5. An insider source has tipped that the new platform will be deeply integrated with Twitter.

According to several tweets from a well-connected industry insider, Robert Scoble, the Twitter integration with Apple's iOS 5 will go beyond just the "lame send to Twitter buttons." Scoble also tweeted that the integration will be "a lot deeper than just photos." He says that he got wind of this information from someone who built the Twitter integration into IOS 5.

As for any further details as to how Apple is going about this deep integration, be it the rumored widgets or the new notifications system, will have to wait until the WWDC keynote. Twitter did just recently announce its native photo sharing feature that's being powered by Photobucket.
