Huawei's Mate 10 Pro may not be its latest smartphone, but it's the Chinese company's current US flagship. The carrier deal with AT&T may have fallen flat, but that's not to say the Mate 10 Pro itself is underwhelming. Indeed, considering the street price and the specs, you're getting a lot for your money.

The body is glass and metal, handsomely designed, while inside there's Huawei's own Kirin 970 processor, 6 GB of RAM, and a healthy 128 GB of storage. On the back, Huawei has worked with Leica again on a dual-camera array. One shoots color images, the other monochrome: together, you get better detail, contrast, and colors.

The Mate 10 Pro's real star feature, however, might well be its battery. That's a whopping 4,000 mAh, delivering more than enough juice to get you through a full day.
