Honda Clarity Fuel Cell Gallery
Set to hit the streets of Japan in the Spring of 2016, the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell – previously known as the Honda FCV or Fuel Cell Vehicle – is a hydrogen powered sedan with space for five. Taking on the Toyota Mirai, it promises over 435 miles of range on a full tank using Japanese metrics.

For the US, the expectation is that the Clarity Fuel Cell will deliver over 300 miles based on EPA metrics.
Meanwhile, the Honda Power Exporter takes the energy generated by the fuel cell and turns the car into a mobile power outlet. That, Honda suggests, could be ideal for power cuts to run domestic appliances from, or indeed in emergencies when medical equipment might need to be supported.
