Greenpeace: Dell and Nintendo Aren't Environmentally Friendly

First off: no company out there is 100 percent green. At least not in the eyes of Greenpeace, at least. In their annual "Who's Green?" report, the organization has come forward on who they believe is "more green" than anyone else, and their results are pretty revealing. For example, it looks like Sony Ericsson and Nokia are leading the pack, while Lenovo, Dell, and Nintendo are not only dragging behind, but are pretty much not accomplishing much at all, it would seem.

Apparently Dell made a promise. What was that promise? To remove certain toxic chemicals from its manufacturing processes. However, Dell hasn't come through on that promise, and so obviously they're feeling the wrath of Greenpeace, as you can see in the image above. "Michael, what the DELL?" Very creative. The sign was put up over the front of the Dell building in Round Rock, Texas, for the whole world to see.

As for everyone else, Nokia is the best, reaching a staggering 7.5 out of 10 on their "green scale." Microsoft and Apple come in at 3.3 and 4.9 out of 10, respectively. Nintendo, though, has got to change something, because Greenpeace's got them at 1.8 out of 10. That can't be good, right? You can check out the whole report from Greenpeace right here, but it's a PDF, so only if you really want to.
