Geely Geometry A Gallery

You can't accuse Geely of lacking ambition. The Chinese automotive group has been on a spending spree in recent years, acquiring Volvo and collaborating with the Swedish firm on Polestar, the performance EV brand. It also co-founded LYNK & Co, yet another EV nameplate. Now, there's another.

It's Geometry, the new brand for Geely's most affordable EVs. Kicking off with the Geometry A, the range will start from the equivalent of $31,250 before subsidies and incentives, but still deliver at least 255 miles (on the NEDC cycle). Level 2+ driver assistance technologies – Geely's version of Tesla's Autopilot – will be fitted as standard.

Geely is calling Geometry a global brand, though a US release still hasn't been confirmed. The EV space – even just Geely's chunk of it – looks set to get crowded over the next few years. That's probably only a good thing for consumers, mind.
