Garmin Vivofit 4 Family Gets Always-On Screen And A Year Of Battery Life

Garmin has launched its latest generation wearables in the vivofit family with the new vivofit 4 series. These activity trackers have a year of battery life with no charging necessary. Garmin has also integrated a new sunlight-readable always-on color display.

The vivofit 4 series is designed to be worn 24/7 and are swim and shower safe. The devices can be paired with a smartphone to support additional features, but don't have to be. The fitness tracker counts steps out of the box with a colored bar that fills up when the wearer is stationary for too long.

When paired with a smartphone the wearable can track sleep, intensity minutes, and more. The Move IQ tech inside the wearable also it to capture and classify activities like walking, running, biking, swimming, and using an elliptical automatically. Watch functions include a normal watch, countdown timer, stopwatch, and alarms.

Vivofit 4 users will also have a weather widget and a find My Phone feature. Customization with multiple watch faces, color themes, and personalized text can be entered for motivation or emergency contact information.

The vivofit 4 comes in S/M size with a limegreen speckled, white, or black band for $79.99 and is available now on Amazon. Other bands are offered with a speckled merlot and navy combo pack in S/M for $29.99. Individual bands will sell for $19.99 and the only version that comes in large size is the black band.
