Galaxy Note 8 Dual-SIM Variant For Europe Revealed By Samsung

Samsung just revealed a bit of information about its upcoming Galaxy Note 8 handset via one of its support pages. According to that page, the Galaxy Note 8 will be available with a dual-SIM variant for the European market, enabling users to pack a pair of SIM cards for using two numbers or service plans on the same handset.

Though not terribly popular in the U.S., dual-SIM support is a must-have for some consumers, enabling them to insert two SIM cards into one phone. This eliminates the hassle of removing one SIM card before inserting another, making it easier to have both business and personal lines on the same phone, to use a foreign carrier while traveling, or something similar.

As first spotted by Dutch publication Galaxy Club, a support page has appeared on Samsung's own website referencing a phone with the model number SM-N950F, which is believed to be the Galaxy Note 8. This model number is listed with a 'DS' designation on the end, however, which stands for dual-SIM.

A quick Google search shows this same model number showing up on the Samsung Caribbean website, as well as the Singapore website. Unfortunately, the pages themselves go on to list information related to the Galaxy S8 handsets, not the Galaxy Note 8, and so other details — at least official ones — aren't available. We do, however, have a host of leaks with tipped info.

We have, for example, already gotten a look at the wallpapers that will supposedly be included with this upcoming smartphone (download them here). A separate leak indicates that the Galaxy Note 8 will have a 3D-touch feature, as well as wireless earbuds included in the box, a dual camera, and more. You can find them all in our Galaxy Note 8 tag portal!
