Final Season Of Netflix's BoJack Horseman Arrives On October 25

One of Netflix's earliest and most successful original shows is coming to an end with its sixth season. The company announced that BoJack Horseman will wrap things up with a two-part season, the first of which will arrive on the streaming platform next month. The company has released a short trailer teasing this show's final batch of episodes, and it comes in the form of a letter.BoJack Horseman is an adult animated comedy that premiered on Netflix in August 2014. The show was one of the first animated originals launched by Netflix, giving the streaming company it's own competitor to similar broadcast television offerings like Bob's Burgers and The Simpsons. As with its other older shows like Orange is the New Black, Netflix plans to move on from the series.

Netflix released the BoJack Horseman season 6 trailer on Friday, giving fans an idea of what they can expect from the show's final season. The first part of the sixth season will premiere on October 25 followed by the second part of the season on January 31.

The trailer hints at a potential mood change for Mr. Peanutbutter, as well as a more optimistic outlook on life for BoJack. Princess Carolyn is finding it difficult to be a single parent to a noisy baby and it seems Todd is getting some news about his mother. These tidbits are presented amid a letter in narrative form.

This is the latest of several shows to get a 'final season' announcement from Netflix. In June, the company released the trailer for its final season of Orange is the New Black, and earlier this month the company announced that it had renewed its original GLOW for its fourth — and likewise final — season.
