Booq whips out new Taipan airport-friendly laptop bag

I don't travel all that much, but when I do I hate having to take my laptop out of the laptop bag for security. I have one more than one occasion forgot to grab my notebook after the thing comes out in its own bin on the little conveyor belt and had to run back and get it. Booq has unveiled a new laptop bag for Macs and PCs that is security friendly.

That means that you don't have to take the notebook out of the bag to go through security. The Taipan unsnaps and opens 180 degrees and has material that allows the x-ray machine to see through the bag without removing the laptop. In addition to the security features, the bag has all sorts of other niceties that travelers will like.

The outside of the bag is coated in a waterproof material. The handles can be tucked away and the shoulder strap is removable. This allows the bag to be carried like a briefcase or on the shoulder. The bag is sized to fit MacBooks up to 13-inches and PCs up to 14-inches. It is available now for $89.95.
