BMW M8 GTE Gallery

The M8 GTE is the latest showcase of what the BMW brand is capable of on the race track. Starting from the chassis of an M8 street car the team at BMW Motorsports have built a fierce competitor utilizing their vast history of racing.

"The M8 is the best race car that BMW Motorsport has ever built as he long as I have been with the brand," Jens Marquardt, BMW Motorsport Director said. "Everything from every program that they have done so far is that DTM, GTE whatever has gone into the concept of the car and design and the development."

First taking to the track at the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the M8 GTE did not fare so well. The car was held back by an aggressive balance of performance. The BMW Motorsports team is moving forward and looking towards the future and the ultimate goal of competing in the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans.
