Bentley Mulliner Bacalar Gallery
Bentley promised something to wow for the road after the jaw-dropping EXP 100 GT concept of last year, and now it's delivered. The Bentley Mulliner Bacalar not only is the most striking road-going vehicle the automaker has produced in recent years, it also brings back legendary coachbuilder Mulliner into the spotlight. It's adding a third division, which will produce limited-edition heavily bespoke vehicles like this roofless grand tourer.
Inspired by the 100th anniversary concept, the Bacalar is a two-seater with a focus on luxury travel. Outside, though the silhouette may be familiar, it actually shares no body panels with the Continental GT. Inside, there's a whole new wraparound dashboard, with Mulliner using leather, Alcantara, and rare timber like 5,000 year old fenland Riverwood. Matching luggage sits behind the driver and passenger.
As for power, there's a tuned version of the 6.0-liter W12, good for 650 horsepower and 667 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard, though biased to rear-wheel drive, as is air suspension and Bentley's 48V Dynamic Ride System. Only twelve Bacalar will be produced, and all twelve have already been accounted for.
