Batman: Arkham Knight Release Joined By Batmobile Edition

There's nothing like a good Special Edition release of a video game to get you hyped up about owning the actual software. Nothing like a good Batmobile, either. That's why the folks at Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have teamed up with the model-makers at Triforce to create a fully transformable Batmobile for their big-time release.

There'll also be a Batman edition – though it'll be called "Limited Edition" instead – with a Batman statue instead of a Batmobile. Why you'd want that instead, I cannot imagine.

Would you rather have a Batmobile or a Batman? You can only have one.

Above you'll see what each of these releases include. Pricing will be above $170 USD for both releases, and they'll be released at the same time as the regular release for the game. Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 2nd, 2015.

UPDATE: The Batmobile Edition will cost a cool $199.99 USD according to Gamestop. The following details have also been shared:

Of special interest is the fact that the Limited Edition will have a PC version available, while the Batmobile Edition will not. The PC Limited Edition will also be available ONLY in the UK and in certain Europe-based locations, pricing set at 99.99€ / 74.99£. Console editions (PS4 and Xbox One) will ring in at $99.99 / 119.99 € / 89.99£.

At this time it appears as though both Limited Edition packages will be out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only. It remains to be seen if a special edition will be released for the PC version of the game.
