BADLAND 2 Released With Neat 3D Touch Features For iPhone 6S
Both the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will benefit from the many new 3D touch-specific features included with the release of BADLANDS 2. This game has been released this week, for iOS only (for now), and utilizes the 3D touch abilities of both of Apple's newest smartphones. Inside you'll find the ability to fly across the screen and stay aloft by pressing and releasing (but not all the way) in a manner similar to, but not the same as, the first version of this title.
Below you'll see a tiny trailer for BADLAND 2. Inside you'll find gameplay aplenty. In this trailer you should watch for the various instances in which scrolling in all directions occurs. This wasn't a feature of the first release, which concentrated on the gloriousness of high-end physics representations and dense, lush backgrounds. Now that they've got that all in order, it's time to go back and boost the game mechanics.
What's especially important for those of you that like to go deep into games that you actually pay real money for: this title will be updated. Many times. The creator of this game (now a game series) suggests that like the original BADLAND, which was updated a whopping 27 times, they'll be adding more content and features to BADLAND 2 over time – they're currently working on new levels right this minute.
This version of the game also has a brand new online mode that, like the 3D Touch support, needs to be experienced to be appreciated fully.
In online mode, users will roll with events and campaigns that last between 1 and 7 days, with leaderboards and winners and global listings.
This new version also has a set of 3 modes: survive the longest, save the most clones, reach the end fastest. You'll also find a new async ghost multiplayer mode as well as a collection of new elements. You'll now have liquids, flamethrowers, frost, magma, water and searing light.
This game is out on the iOS app store right this minute. Have a peek and let us know how it goes!
