Experience

Based in the UK, Simon was the editor of the nation's biggest computer magazine, PCW, in the 1990s. After he left, he founded What Mobile magazine and reviewed hundreds of phones. He's worked for Sony Ericsson in Lund, Sweden, and the mobile phone operator's organization, the GSMA. Simon held the highest status, Wizard, on MUD, the world's first online multiplayer game in 1981.

Education

Simon was taught to write news when he was 12 by his grammar school English teacher, who had been the editor of Motorcycling News before turning to education. His first reviews appeared in Computer & Video Games magazine when he was 14. Now aged 60, he's still writing.
