Kris has been a freelance writer with over a decade of experience under his belt. His first experience was as a contributor for the Philippine gaming magazine GamesMasters back in 2005, which is where his passion for writing was ignited. He initially worked for online business consultancies after graduating, but soon found he was best suited as a freelance scribe. Throughout his career, he mainly covered a broad range of topics but has since shifted gears toward the industry that he is most passionate about: video games, gaming technology, and pop culture. He has also written dozens of gaming-related articles for TheGamer. Kris is also a motorcycle aficionado, stemming from his love of the Japanese Tokusatsu franchise, Masked Rider.
