Some of Jon's earliest memories revolve around toy cars and trucks, walkie-talkies, and building model airplanes — an obsession with vehicles and gadgets that has only grown over the years.
At 18, he successfully changed the oil in his 1993 Honda Civic DX hatchback as his first foray into fixing cars.
He is definitely an old-school, 20th-century guy who can appreciate new(er) cars but sides with Jeremy Clarkson.

Jon has been a freelance journalist and copywriter for 17 years, with a background in coffee, food, and music. In his personal life, he is an audio enthusiast, constantly tinkering with his hi-fi setup at home. He enjoys fly fishing, cooking, tennis, and gawking at BaT car auctions online.
