He has a deep and abiding love of Free and Open Source Software, has played around with Android app development, and dabbles with Python and Java. David has lost count of the number of articles he's written, both under his own name, as a ghostwriter, or with a pseudonym. He never passes up a chance to take a stray edX course to better his understanding of technology, humanity, and other related matters. Although he primarily works online these days, he still keeps a foot in the print media world.

He has a post-graduate certificate in print journalism from the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
